MLB Manufacturers began in 1979, a small company situated in Waitara, a small rural township in North Taranaki, New Zealand. Over the years it has grown in strength and stature through the development of innovative manufacturing techniques created from its engineering factory in Waitara.

Musket mufflers and Musket heavy duty (formerly Mastiff) have given MLB Manufacturers an outstanding reputation for customer satisfaction, quality and value.

In 2008 the Mastiff brand was incorporated into the Musket range and is marketed under the MLB Manufacturers umbrella as ‘Musket heavy duty’.
